Department of Marine Vertebrates

This department provides scientific research and consulting services to private and public organizations with respect to a variety of aquatic resources. Particularly for native fish species, the department endeavors to assist fish producers through the application of contemporary and derived technologies to aquiculture, and reproduction. Furthermore, its objectives encompass environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, and mitigation of the pollution and overfishing-related harm. with a specific focus on Iraq and the Gulf region.
